Monoclonal Anti-Human EPO-16, 100 ug

Human erythropoietin (EPO) is the circulating glycoprotein hormone responsible for stimulating erythropoiesis and red blood cell production in response to hypoxia. The Monoclonal Anti-Human EPO-16 antibody from STEMCELL Technologies is a research-grade monoclonal reagent that selectively binds the human EPO antigen, supporting in vitro investigations of recombinant erythropoietin expression, hematopoietic stem cell differentiation, and kidney-derived EPO signaling in models of anemia and oxygen sensing.

Each vial contains 100 µg of purified monoclonal antibody, supplied for use in western blot, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry workflows on cell culture samples and tissue sections. The antibody enables detection of human EPO in conditioned media, cell lysates, and fixed specimens, and is frequently paired with secondary reagents in erythroid biology and renal physiology studies.

Upon arrival, the vial should be stored refrigerated and protected from light, then centrifuged briefly before opening to recover the full volume. For long-term stability, aliquot the antibody and freeze in working volumes to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
