MesenCult Proliferation Kit (Human)

Supplied by STEMCELL Technologies, this two-component system combines a 450 mL bottle of defined basal medium with a 50 mL bottle of xeno-free proliferation supplement. Once mixed, the complete medium supports the in vitro expansion of primary human mesenchymal stromal cells (hMSCs) isolated from bone marrow, adipose tissue, umbilical cord tissue, dental pulp, and other tissue sources, while preserving their trilineage differentiation potential toward osteogenic, chondrogenic, and adipogenic lineages.

The serum-free formulation delivers consistent, lot-to-lot expansion performance and is validated for use with MesenCult MSC Attachment Substrate (sold separately) to standardize cell adherence in reduced-serum workflows. Typical downstream applications include flow cytometry characterization of MSC surface markers (CD73, CD90, CD105), differentiation assays, and expansion for tissue engineering or preclinical research studies.

One kit prepares 500 mL of complete proliferation medium, sufficient to feed roughly 25 standard T75 flasks. Store the basal medium refrigerated and protected from light; store the proliferation supplement frozen at -20°C, protected from light. The complete working medium is stable refrigerated for up to one month. Not intended for diagnostic use. For research use only.
