HOT FIREPol® SolisGreen qPCR Mix 2.0

A dye-based qPCR mix from Solis BioDyne, formulated for real-time quantitative PCR and offering improved detection of low-copy targets. The product is compatible with most qPCR platforms and contains all components needed for the reaction except the DNA/RNA template and primers. It incorporates the specially developed SolisGreen® dye, which is described as environmentally friendly and safe to use.

The mix includes a passive reference based on ROX dye, making it compatible with both ROX-dependent and ROX-independent qPCR cyclers. HOT FIREPol® DNA Polymerase is activated by a 10 min incubation step at 95°C, which prevents the extension of non-specifically annealed primers and primer-dimers formed at low temperatures during qPCR setup. The product delivers exceptional fluorescence levels and stable results even under temperature stress conditions.

Designed for high reproducibility and reliable amplification of low-concentration and low copy-number samples, the mix offers exceptional stability at higher temperatures, enabling worldwide ice-free shipping. Listed applications include gene expression analysis and absolute quantification, pathogen detection and quantification, low-copy gene detection, and cell-free DNA analysis. The product is a colorless liquid with a pH of 7.0–9.0 and is intended for routine storage at -28°C to -18°C; a storage temperature of -20°C is also recommended.
