Positive selection of mouse cells pre-labeled with an APC-conjugated antibody is achieved using an enzymatic release approach from STEMCELL Technologies. After labeling the target population with an APC antibody of choice, an Anti-APC Selection Cocktail links the fluorophore to magnetic particles that are captured using the EasySep magnet without columns or harsh shear. A brief enzymatic Release Reagent step then cleaves the linkage, releasing particle-free and antibody-free viable cells in a single tube.

This Mouse APC Positive Selection Kit (research use only) supports downstream applications sensitive to surface-bound antibody or magnetic bead contamination. Common uses include flow cytometry panels that require clean fluorescence channels, in vitro cell culture, functional assays such as proliferation and cytokine production, and adoptive transfer studies in recipient mice. The column-free workflow preserves viability and surface marker integrity on delicate primary populations including splenocytes, lymph node cells, bone marrow cells, and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes.

The kit is supplied as a complete set with Anti-APC Selection Cocktail, Release Reagent, magnetic particles, and recommended buffers in single-use vials. The full isolation protocol from prepared sample to ready-to-use cell product typically completes in under 90 minutes at room temperature.
