EasySep Release Hu PE Pos Slctn Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic kit enables positive selection of human cells labeled with PE-conjugated antibodies from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), washed leukapheresis samples, or other single-cell suspensions. The workflow uses antibody complexes that recognize both PE and the kit's Releasable RapidSpheres™, with separation performed without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted cells are simply poured off while labeled cells stay behind, and the magnetic particles are then released from the isolated cells in a no-wash step, leaving particle-free cells immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. Highly purified PE-labeled cells are typically obtained in less than 40 minutes.

The manufacturer cites representative purities from human PBMCs of 98.7 ± 0.9% for CD3+ cells and 97.7 ± 2.3% for CD19+ cells (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ Magnet). Cells are prepared at 1 x 10^8 cells/mL and labeled with a PE-conjugated antibody at 0.5 - 2 μg/mL of sample, followed by the selection cocktail and RapidSpheres™ according to the manual protocol.
