EasySep Release Hu CD3 Pos Slctn Kit

This immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables isolation of highly purified human CD3+ cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples, with capacity for processing 1 x 10^9 cells per run.

The system uses antibody complexes recognizing the CD3 surface marker together with EasySep™ Releasable RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles, and separation is performed without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted cells are poured off while desired cells remain in the tube. Bound magnetic particles are subsequently released from the isolated CD3+ cells, leaving them particle-free and immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. The workflow delivers isolated cells in less than 30 minutes with no-wash removal of the Releasable RapidSpheres™.

According to the manufacturer's typical performance data, the CD3+ cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 98.7 ± 0.9% (mean ± SD) using the purple EasySep™ Magnet, with an example showing start and final isolated fraction purities of 38.4% and 99.0%, respectively. Following cell isolation, antibody complexes remain bound to the cell surface and may interact with Brilliant Violet™ antibody conjugates, polyethylene glycol-modified proteins, or other chemically related ligands. The Selection Cocktail is a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS and 0.1% BSA that includes an Fc receptor blocking antibody. All components should be stored at 2 - 8°C and not frozen.
