EasySep Rel Hu Neural Crest Pos Sel Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic positive selection kit is designed to isolate highly purified CD271+ cells from human pluripotent stem cell (PSC)-derived neural crest cell cultures. The kit uses antibody complexes that recognize the CD271 surface marker together with EasySep™ Releasable RapidSpheres™, and separation is performed without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted cells are poured off while the desired cells remain in the tube.

The workflow delivers enriched cells in less than 20 minutes and allows no-wash removal of the magnetic particles, leaving the isolated CD271+ cells immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry or cell culture. The kit is described as compatible with downstream differentiation protocols. Following isolation, antibody complexes remain bound to the cell surface and may interact with Brilliant Violet™ antibody conjugates, polyethylene glycol-modified proteins, or other chemically related ligands.

Data from the manufacturer shows that, starting from single-cell suspensions of H9, H7, or 1C cells differentiated using the STEMdiff™ Neural Crest Differentiation Kit, the CD271+ cell content of the isolated fractions is typically 92.9 ± 6.3% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ Magnet).
