EasySep Rat CD8T Cell Iso Kit-Sam

This immunomagnetic isolation kit from STEMCELL Technologies enriches CD8-positive T lymphocytes from rat single-cell suspensions, including splenocytes, lymph node preparations, and peripheral blood, using a column-free negative-selection workflow. Unwanted leukocytes are first labeled with a cocktail of biotinylated antibodies and then bound to magnetic nanoparticles; placing the tube on an EasySep magnet for a few minutes pulls the labeled fraction to the side wall while the untouched CD8+ T cell fraction is decanted into a fresh vial, yielding an enriched population in roughly 25 to 30 minutes of hands-on time.

The sample-size configuration is intended for pilot experiments, protocol optimization, and training demonstrations, with reagents supplied in single-use vials stored at 4 °C. Isolated cells remain viable and functional for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, in vitro stimulation, cytotoxicity assays, cell culture expansion, and adoptive transfer studies in rodent models. Expected purity of the enriched CD8+ fraction generally exceeds 85% by flow cytometry, and all components are intended for research use only.
