EasySep Mu Mesen Progen Cell Enrich Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers an immunomagnetic negative selection kit designed to isolate untouched, highly purified mesenchymal stem/progenitor cells from mouse compact bone cell suspensions. The column-free protocol uses biotinylated antibodies recognizing the CD45 and TER119 cell surface markers to label non-mesenchymal progenitor cells, which are then separated using an EasySep™ magnet. Isolated cells are simply poured off into a new tube and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. With single-cell suspensions from other tissue types, the kit may require optimization.

Starting with mouse compact bone cells, the CD45-TER119- cell content of the enriched fraction typically ranges from 50 - 99%, with CFU-F enrichment typically 50 - 200 fold. The kit can process up to 4 x 10^8 cells and includes an Enrichment Cocktail containing monoclonal antibodies in PBS with 0.1% BSA, a Biotin Selection Cocktail containing monoclonal antibodies in PBS, and Magnetic Particles suspended in TRIS-buffered saline. Components should be stored at 2 - 8°C, must not be frozen, and are stable until the expiry date on the label.
