EasySep Ms CD45 Pos Sel Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers this immunomagnetic kit for isolating highly purified mouse CD45+ cells from single-cell suspensions of splenocytes, lung, or other tissue samples. The workflow uses an antibody complex that recognizes CD45 along with magnetic particles, allowing separation with an EasySep magnet without columns; unwanted cells are removed by pouring off or aspirating the supernatant, leaving the CD45+ fraction in the tube for immediate use in flow cytometry, culture, or other cell-based assays.

Typical isolation performance with the purple EasySep magnet has been reported in two sample types. Starting from naïve mouse lung suspensions, the leukocyte (CD45+) content of the isolated fraction is typically 97.0% ± 1.4% (mean ± SD), with start and final purities in the cited example of 53.1% and 94.1% respectively. Starting from unlysed naïve mouse splenocytes, the isolated leukocyte (CD45+) content is typically 97.6 ± 1.3% (mean ± SD), with start and final purities of 31.2% and 96.6% respectively.

The kit is intended for research use only and is not for human or animal medical, clinical diagnostic, or food applications. Associated reagents referenced in the workflow include 10X Collagenase/hyaluronidase in DMEM and mouse monoclonal antibodies against mouse CD45.1 and CD45.2.
