EasySep Mouse Monocyte Isolation Kit

A column-free magnetic negative selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables the enrichment of mouse monocytes from mouse bone marrow, splenocytes, whole blood, or other single-cell suspensions in as little as 15 minutes. According to manufacturer data, starting from mouse bone marrow cells, the monocyte content (Lineage- [CD3, CD45R, CD117, CD49b, Siglec F] CD11b+Ly6G- Ly6Chi/lo) of the isolated fraction is 89.5 ± 4.8% (mean ± SD) when using the purple EasySep™ Magnet, with start and final isolated fraction purities of 7.1% and 92.3%, respectively, in a representative example.

The kit has been transitioned to include Mouse FcR Blocker in place of the previously supplied Normal Rat Serum, with all components now shipped in a single package. The product is described as producing highly viable, functionally intact monocytes suitable for immunophenotyping, cell culture, functional assays, and single-cell workflows, and the reagents are compatible with EasySep™ magnets and automated cell separation platforms.
