EasySep Mouse Hem Prog Isolation Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic negative selection kit is designed to isolate untouched and highly purified progenitor cells from mouse bone marrow. The column-free workflow uses an EasySep™ magnet: unwanted non-progenitor cells are labeled with a cocktail of biotinylated antibodies and magnetic particles, then the desired cells are simply poured off into a new tube, leaving them immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments. The kit can be run manually or on the fully automated RoboSep™ platform.

The kit targets cells expressing the mature hematopoietic 'lineage' markers CD3, CD11b, CD19, CD45R (B220), Ly6G/C (Gr-1), and TER119, enriching for the Lin-negative population that includes the LSK (Lin-Sca1+c-Kit+) hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. Starting with a mouse bone marrow cell suspension, the lineage antigen-negative cell content of the isolated fraction typically ranges from 60 - 84%, with up to 84% purity reported. The kit is supplied with an Isolation Cocktail of monoclonal antibodies, Streptavidin RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles, and a Mouse FcR Blocker, and is intended for processing 1 x 10^9 cells.
