EasySep Mouse F4/80 Pos Sel Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers an immunomagnetic positive selection kit designed to isolate highly purified F4/80+ cells from mouse lung tissues. The kit uses a column-free workflow in which antibodies and magnetic particles label target cells, an EasySep™ magnet retains them, and unwanted cells are simply poured off.

Isolated cells are not fluorochrome-labeled and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, and cell-based experiments. The kit is described as fast and easy-to-use, requires no columns, and can deliver up to 95% purity. According to the manufacturer's data starting with a naïve mouse lung single-cell suspension, the F4/80+ cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 94.3 ± 2.8% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ magnet), with a worked example showing start and final purities of 26.3% and 95.3%, respectively. The kit is for processing 7.5 x 10^8 cells from lung tissue and is compatible with the EasySep™, "The Big Easy", EasyPlate™, and EasyEights™ magnet formats.

Purity can be assessed by flow cytometry using Anti-Mouse F4/80 (Clone BM8), Anti-Mouse CD11b (Clone M1/70), and Anti-Mouse CD45 (Clone 30-F11) antibodies, with the nuclear dye DRAQ7™ recommended to exclude dead cells.
