EasySep Mouse CD49b Pos Sel Kit

Immunomagnetic positive selection from STEMCELL Technologies enables researchers to isolate mouse CD49b-positive natural killer (NK) cells directly from single-cell suspensions of spleen, lymph node, bone marrow, or peripheral blood without the need for columns or specialized instrumentation.

The kit leverages EasySep magnetic nanoparticles complexed with a tetrameric antibody reagent that recognizes the CD49b (DX5) integrin. After a brief 15-minute incubation in the EasySep magnet, target cells are separated from unwanted populations, yielding viable leukocytes ready for downstream flow cytometry, cytotoxicity assays, in vitro cell culture, or adoptive transfer into recipient mice.

Each kit is supplied as a complete reagent set sufficient to process up to 1 x 10^9 leukocytes per isolation, supporting applications that range from basic immunology research to tumor surveillance and viral infection studies in murine models. The protocol is straightforward enough for routine use and can be completed at room temperature, requiring only standard laboratory pipettes and a magnet compatible with 5 mL tubes.
