EasySep Mouse CD4 Positive Slctn Kit II

This immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables isolation of highly purified CD4+ cells from mouse splenocytes or other single-cell suspensions. The column-free workflow uses antibodies and magnetic particles together with an EasySep™ magnet, allowing unwanted cells to be poured off while desired cells remain in the tube. Isolated cells are not fluorochrome-labeled and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments.

The kit targets CD4+ cells with antibodies recognizing the CD4 surface marker. Up to 98% purity is reported, and data starting with mouse splenocytes shows the CD4+ cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 94.8 ± 3.5% (mean ± SD) for the purple EasySep™ Magnet, with start and final isolated fractions of 20.7% and 96.2% respectively in a representative example. For purity assessment by flow cytometry, the manufacturer recommends Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody, Clone RM4-4; other clones may be blocked and should be tested before use.
