EasySep Mouse CD11c Pos Slctn Kit II

This STEMCELL Technologies kit enables isolation of highly purified CD11c+ cells from mouse splenocytes or cultured bone marrow cells by immunomagnetic positive selection. The fast, easy-to-use, column-free workflow uses antibodies that recognize the CD11c surface marker along with magnetic particles, leaving target cells in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off. Isolated cells are not fluorochrome-labeled and are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, and cell-based experiments.

Designed for processing 2 x 10^9 cells, the kit achieves purities up to 95%. In a typical isolation from mouse splenocytes using the purple EasySep™ Magnet, the CD11c+ content of the enriched fraction is 86.8 ± 9.7%, with example start and isolated fraction purities of 5.7% and 92.3%, respectively. Components include Component A and Component B (combinations of monoclonal antibodies in PBS and 0.1% BSA), EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles, EasySep™ Mouse FcR Blocker, and Spleen Dissociation Medium containing collagenase IV, DNase, FBS, and RPMI medium.

Manual protocols using EasySep™ magnets or EasyEights™ involve room-temperature incubations and magnetic separations in 5 mL or 14 mL round-bottom tubes. The kit is also compatible with the fully automated RoboSep™ system. The protocol may require optimization when working with single-cell suspensions from tissue types other than spleen.
