EasySep Mouse CD117 (cKit) Pos Slctn Kit

Highly purified CD117+ (cKIT+) cells can be isolated from mouse bone marrow using the EasySep™ Mouse CD117 (cKIT) Positive Selection Kit from STEMCELL Technologies. This immunomagnetic positive selection kit uses antibodies recognizing the CD117 surface marker along with magnetic particles to label target cells, which are then separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted cells are simply poured off while desired cells remain in the tube, with the workflow described as fast and easy-to-use and requiring no columns.

Starting with mouse bone marrow, the CD117+ cell content of the isolated fraction typically ranges from 88 - 95%, with purity stated as up to 95%. The kit is designed for processing 2 x 10^9 cells and includes three components: EasySep™ Mouse CD117 (cKIT) PE Labeling Reagent, EasySep™ PE Positive Selection Cocktail, and EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™, stored at 2 - 8°C. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. Because the positively selected cells are already PE-labeled, purity can be assessed directly by flow cytometry. When using single-cell suspensions from tissue types other than bone marrow, the kit may require optimization.
