Immunomagnetic T Cell Enrichment for Laboratory Workflows

The EasySep Human T Cell Isolation Kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables rapid, column-free enrichment of CD3+ T lymphocytes from single-cell suspensions such as peripheral blood mononuclear cells, leukapheresis products, or whole blood. The kit uses antibody complexes directed against non-T cells paired with magnetic particles, so target T cells remain untouched in the suspension while unwanted cell types are depleted and drawn to the magnet. This negative-selection strategy preserves native cell surface marker expression and functional activity, supporting downstream flow cytometry panels, antigen-specific stimulation assays, and ex vivo expansion protocols in immunotherapy research.

The workflow runs alongside the EasySep magnet (purple or silver) or RoboSep automated cell processing instrument, with each kit accommodating up to 4 x 10^9 leukocytes. The small-sample ("Sam") configuration suits low-volume input, adding flexibility to experimental design. Cells are isolated in approximately 25 minutes without density-gradient centrifugation, columns, or specialized consumables beyond the supplied selection cocktail and magnetic particle vials.

Researchers use this product for CAR-T development, HIV reservoir studies, vaccine immunology, autoimmune disease modeling, transplant tolerance research, and tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte characterization. All components are supplied as single-use vials stored at room temperature and intended for research use only. Each EA unit contains enough reagent to process the documented sample count, with bulk and high-throughput alternatives available within the broader EasySep portfolio.
