EasySep Human T Cell Iso Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this kit uses immunomagnetic negative selection to isolate untouched and highly purified human T cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. The column-free workflow labels non-T cells with magnetic particles, allowing desired T cells to be poured off into a new tube after separation with an EasySep™ magnet. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

According to the product information sheet, the protocol delivers untouched, viable T cells in as little as 8 minutes, with up to 98% purity and high recovery, and is capable of processing 1 x 10^9 cells. The kit is positioned as part of T cell therapy research workflows.

Each kit is supplied with an EasySep™ Human T Cell Isolation Cocktail, a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS, and EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™, a suspension of magnetic particles in water. Components should be stored at 2 - 8°C and remain stable until the expiry date on the label. The recommended medium is EasySep™ Buffer, RoboSep™ Buffer, or PBS containing 2% FBS and 1 mM EDTA, free of Ca++ and Mg++.
