EasySep Human Pan-B Cell Enrichment Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic negative selection kit is designed to isolate untouched, highly purified B cells, including plasma cells, from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or lysed leukapheresis samples. The column-free workflow uses antibodies and magnetic particles together with an EasySep™ magnet, allowing desired cells to be poured off into a new tube without the need for columns.

Processing capacity is up to 1 x 10^9 cells per run, with achieved purities of up to 99% and the enriched fraction containing pan-B cells (Lineage-negative CD19+ and CD19-CD43+) typically ranging from 90 - 99%. Isolated cells are immediately suitable for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. The kit is not recommended for use with peripheral blood or other tissues from patients with B cell leukemia or lymphoma, or with other disease states in which B cells may express CD36 and/or CD123.

Components include a monoclonal antibody enrichment cocktail in PBS and a suspension of magnetic particles in TBS, both stored at 2 - 8°C and stable until the expiry date on the label. Protocols are available for manual use with EasySep™ magnets and for fully automated separation using the RoboSep™ instrument. Purity can be assessed by flow cytometry using fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies against CD19, CD43, and lineage markers (CD4, CD8, CD14, CD16, CD56).
