EasySep Human CD8 T Cell Iso Kit

STEMCELL Technologies' EasySep™ Human CD8+ T Cell Isolation Kit enables researchers to obtain untouched, highly purified CD8+ T cells from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. The kit uses immunomagnetic negative selection in a column-free workflow that can be completed in as little as 8 minutes. Non-CD8 T cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles, then separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet, allowing the desired cells to be simply poured off into a new tube.

The kit contains an Isolation Cocktail — a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS — and EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles in water. Both components should be stored at 2 - 8°C and not frozen. It is designed to process up to 1 x 10^9 cells.

Starting from human PBMCs, the CD8+ T cell content (CD3+CD8+) of the isolated fraction is typically 85.6 ± 4.9% (mean ± SD for the purple EasySep™ Magnet), with up to 91% purity achievable alongside high recovery. Isolated cells are immediately ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. The protocol is supported across multiple EasySep™ magnets including EasyPlate™, EasyEights™, Easy 50, and "The Big Easy," with a fully automated workflow also available on the RoboSep™ platform.
