EasySep Human CD8 Pos Sel Kit II

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic kit enables the rapid isolation of highly purified CD8+ cells from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. Positive selection is achieved in as little as 15 minutes using antibodies that recognize the CD8 surface marker in combination with magnetic particles, with no columns required. Desired cells are labeled and separated using an EasySep™ magnet, leaving unwanted cells to be simply poured off while the desired fraction remains in the tube.

The kit achieves up to 99% purity, with isolated cells ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. Typical performance data show a CD8+ cell content of 96.5 ± 2.4% (mean ± SD) in the isolated fraction when starting from single-cell suspensions of human PBMCs and using "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet.

Components include the EasySep™ Human CD8 Positive Selection Cocktail II, a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS with 0.09% recombinant human albumin that includes an Fc receptor blocking antibody, alongside EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™, a suspension of magnetic particles. Both are stored at 2 - 8°C and remain stable until the expiry date on the label. The kit is intended for research use only and not for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses. Recommended clones for purity assessment by flow cytometry include Anti-Human CD8a, Clone RPA-T8 or Clone SK1 (partially blocked).
