EasySep Human CD56 Pos Sel Kit II (Sam)

From STEMCELL Technologies, this EasySep Human CD56 Pos Sel Kit II is an immunomagnetic positive selection kit designed to isolate CD56-positive cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). It belongs to the EasySep family of kits and assays.

The kit uses Tetrameric Antibody Complexes that recognize CD56 along with dextran-coated magnetic particles to label the desired cells. The selection cocktail also contains an antibody against the human Fc receptor to minimize nonspecific binding. Labeled cells are separated using an EasySep magnet without the use of columns: cells of interest remain in the tube while unwanted cells are poured off.

The CD56 antigen is expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and NKT cells, supporting immunology research applications involving these cell populations. The kit is designed to be fast and easy to use, achieves up to 98% purity, and requires no columns.
