EasySep Human CD2 Pos Slctn Kit II-Sam

The EasySep Human CD2 Positive Selection Kit II from STEMCELL Technologies enriches CD2-positive cells—predominantly T lymphocytes and NK cells—directly from human whole blood, buffy coat, leukapheresis product, or single-cell suspensions using immunomagnetic separation.

Target cells are labeled with a tetrameric antibody complex specific for the CD2 surface antigen and linked to dextran-coated magnetic particles. When the sample is placed on the EasySep magnet, labeled cells are retained while unlabeled cells are poured off, leaving behind an enriched, viable CD2+ population ready for downstream work without the need for columns or density gradients.

The II particle formulation is engineered to minimize non-specific activation of isolated lymphocytes, supporting downstream flow cytometry, cell culture, PCR-based molecular studies, and adoptive transfer applications in research use only workflows. The rapid, column-free protocol is typically completed in under 30 minutes per sample. Components are supplied in single-use vials and should be stored refrigerated to preserve antibody activity through the stated shelf life of the product.
