EasySep Human CD2 Pos Slctn Kit II

From STEMCELL Technologies, this kit enables immunomagnetic positive selection of highly purified CD2+ cells from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). The column-free workflow labels target cells with antibodies and magnetic particles, then separates them using an EasySep™ magnet — unwanted cells are simply poured off while desired cells remain in the tube.

Designed for processing 1 x 10^9 cells, the kit achieves up to 97% purity, with a typical CD2+ cell content of the isolated fraction reported at 93.8 ± 3.3% (mean ± SD using the purple EasySep™ Magnet, as assessed by labeling with CD3 and CD56). In one example, the starting and final isolated fractions measured 66.1% and 94.8% purity, respectively. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. Both manual protocols and fully automated RoboSep™ workflows are supported.
