Researchers working with human whole blood can rapidly enrich CD34-positive hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells using this immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies. The EasySep platform uses antibody complexes that recognize the CD34 surface marker and couple target cells to magnetic particles, enabling isolation of purified cell populations without density gradient centrifugation or red blood cell lysis steps.

The simple magnet-based workflow completes in under 30 minutes at room temperature, and recovered CD34+ cells retain high viability for downstream assays.
