EasySep Hu WB & BM CD138 Pos Sel Kit II

The EasySep™ Human Whole Blood and Bone Marrow CD138 Positive Selection Kit II from STEMCELL Technologies enables easy and efficient isolation of highly purified human CD138+ (syndecan-1) cells from fresh bone marrow or whole blood using EasySep™ immunomagnetic positive selection. When starting with fresh whole blood spiked with the U266 multiple myeloma cell line, the CD138+ cell content of the selected fraction typically ranges from 83.7 - 98.3%, with example start and final isolated fraction purities of 9.1% and 90.4%, respectively. The kit is available globally for research use only (RUO) applications.

For samples with CD138+ starting frequency below 10 - 15%, the CD138+ purity of the isolated fraction may be variable. In the reported example, red blood cells were removed from the start sample by lysis prior to flow cytometry.
