EasySep Hu Naïve CD4TCell Iso Kit II

This immunomagnetic cell isolation kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables researchers to isolate untouched human naïve CD4+ T cells from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using a column-free, negative-selection workflow. Unwanted cells expressing CD2, CD14, CD16, CD19, CD20, CD25, CD36, CD45RO, CD56, CD61, CD66b, CD123, GlyA, TCRγδ, and HLA-DR are labelled with antibody complexes and magnetic particles and retained by the EasySep™ magnet, while the target naïve CD4+ T cells (CD3+CD4+CD45RA+CD45RO-) remain in suspension and are collected by pouring or pipetting into a new tube.

When starting with fresh mononuclear cells and using the purple EasySep™ Magnet, the naïve CD4+ T cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 96.6 ± 1.5% (mean ± SD). In a representative isolation profile, starting and final purities were 13.0% and 97.3%, respectively. The optimized protocol completes the separation in as little as 11 minutes, yielding cells that can be used directly in downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or nucleic acid extraction.
