EasySep Hu Myeloid DC Negative Sel Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, the EasySep™ Human Myeloid DC Enrichment Kit uses immunomagnetic negative selection to isolate untouched, viable human myeloid dendritic cells (mDCs) from fresh peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), buffy coat, or lysed leukapheresis samples. Unwanted cells, including plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles and separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet, allowing the desired cells to be poured off into a new tube.

Manufacturer data indicates that starting with 0.6 - 1.8% mDCs in fresh peripheral blood nucleated cells, the mDC content of the enriched fraction typically ranges from 50 - 90% purity, with up to 90% purity reported. The mDC phenotype is defined as Lineage (CD3, CD14, CD19, CD20, CD34, CD56)-negative, HLA-DR-positive, and CD11c-positive. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

The kit components include a myeloid DC enrichment cocktail, a DC enrichment cocktail, magnetic particles, and an anti-human CD32 (Fc gamma RII) blocker for negative selection. All components should be stored at 2 - 8°C and not frozen. Both manual and fully automated protocols are supported. The product is intended for research use only.
