EasySep Hu Memory CD8 T Cell Enrich Kit

This immunomagnetic negative selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables isolation of untouched, highly purified human memory CD8+ T cells (CD8+CD45RA-CD45RO+) from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or lysed leukapheresis samples. The column-free procedure uses antibodies and magnetic particles to target non-memory CD8+ T cells for removal, and desired cells are simply poured off into a new tube. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or cell-based assays.

According to the manufacturer, the kit is designed for processing 1 x 10^9 cells and achieves up to 92% purity. Typical memory CD8+ T cell content in the enriched fraction ranges from 72 - 92%, with a representative example showing start and enriched purities of 4.9% and 88.8%, respectively. Separation is performed with an EasySep™ magnet using a recommended medium such as EasySep™ Buffer, RoboSep™ Buffer, or PBS containing 2% fetal bovine serum and 1 mM EDTA. Kit components include the Enrichment Cocktail, a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS, and EasySep™ D Magnetic Particles, a suspension of magnetic particles in water, both stored at 2 - 8°C and not to be frozen.
