EasySep Hu ILC2 Isolation Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this kit enables researchers to isolate highly purified human group 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s) from fresh peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. The isolation is performed by column-free immunomagnetic positive selection: CRTH2+ cells are first captured using antibody complexes and Releasable RapidSpheres™, the magnetic particles are then released from the isolated CRTH2+ cells, and unwanted non-ILC2s are removed in a depletion step with antibody complexes and Dextran RapidSpheres™. The kit is designed to process 2 x 10^9 cells.

According to the manufacturer, purities of up to 95% are achievable, and the ILC2 content (CD45+Lin-CRTH2+CD161+CD127+) of the isolated fraction typically ranges from 84 - 95% when starting with fresh leukapheresis samples. Following isolation, antibody complexes may remain bound to the cell surface and could interact with Brilliant Violet™ antibody conjugates, polyethylene glycol-modified proteins, or other chemically related ligands.
