EasySep Hu HLA-DR Pos Sel Depl Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic kit is designed to isolate or deplete highly purified HLA-DR+ cells from fresh or previously frozen human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or leukapheresis samples. Unwanted cells are labeled with antibodies recognizing the HLA-DR cell surface marker and magnetic particles, then separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet, with desired cells simply poured off into a new tube.

The kit supports workflows for positive selection, depletion, or a combined protocol, and isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or DNA/RNA extraction. HLA-DR is a human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II receptor expressed on antigen-presenting cells, including dendritic cells, B cells, monocytes, macrophages, and activated T cells, supporting studies of autoimmune disease, viral infection, and cancer. Components are stored at 2 - 8°C and should not be frozen.

Reported performance includes up to 98% purity. Starting with washed or lysed leukapheresis samples, the HLA-DR cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 91.9 ± 6.4% after positive selection and 2.0 ± 1.8% after depletion (mean ± SD using the EasySep™ Magnet), and HLA-DR+ cell frequencies in the start, isolated, and depleted fractions of 50.7%, 96.0%, and 1.0%, respectively, have been observed in a representative run. The protocol can be completed in approximately 25 minutes.
