EasySep Hu Eosinophil Iso Kit

A negative-selection cell isolation kit from STEMCELL Technologies uses immunomagnetic separation to isolate untouched, highly purified eosinophils (CD16-CD66b+CD45+) from fresh human peripheral blood polymorphonuclear cells (PMNCs). The fast, easy-to-use, column-free workflow uses an EasySep™ magnet to label unwanted cells with antibodies and magnetic particles; desired cells are then simply poured off into a new tube, immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

The EasySep™ Human Eosinophil Isolation Kit achieves up to 99% purity, with the eosinophil content of the isolated fraction typically 96.5 ± 2.5% (mean ± SD) when starting from whole blood prepared using RBC lysis or HetaSep™. Isolated cells are viable and remain untouched by the selection antibodies. Sample preparation options include standard density gradient separation followed by RBC lysis, or HetaSep™ sedimentation for faster, lysis-free processing. Components are stable until the expiry date (EXP) on the label when stored at 2-8°C.

The protocol is flexible and can be performed manually with EasySep™ magnets, "The Big Easy," or the EasyEights™ magnet, or fully automated on the RoboSep™ system. The kit is intended for research use only and is not for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic applications unless otherwise stated.
