EasySep Hu CD15 Pos Slctn Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this kit enables the positive selection of highly purified human CD15+ cells from human whole blood using a column-free immunomagnetic separation protocol. The kit uses Tetrameric Antibody Complexes that recognize CD15 together with dextran-coated magnetic particles to target the cells of interest. After labeling, unwanted cells are removed by simply pouring off the solution, while the magnetically labeled target cells remain in the tube when used with the EasySep™ magnet.

The protocol is suitable for ammonium chloride-lysed human blood or other human nucleated cell suspensions. CD15 is expressed on monocytes and granulocytes. In a typical run starting with lysed whole blood, the CD15+ content of the isolated fraction is 98.8 ± 0.8% (gated on CD45+ cells; mean ± SD). A representative example shows starting and final isolated fraction purities of 50.7% and 98.0%, respectively.
