EasySep Hu CD138 Pos Sel Kit II-Sam

STEMCELL Technologies' EasySep kit enables column-free positive isolation of human CD138+ plasma cells from mononuclear cell suspensions, bone marrow aspirates, or splenocyte preparations. The II-Sam configuration is sized for small-volume experiments where a few million enriched plasma cells are needed per run, supporting multiple myeloma research, antibody-secreting cell profiling, and downstream in vitro culture or molecular characterization studies. The workflow pairs a biotinylated antibody cocktail targeting CD138 (Syndecan-1) with EasySep magnetic nanoparticles; labeled cells are retained by the magnet while the unlabeled fraction is poured off, leaving a positively selected target population in the tube. Typical input ranges from roughly 5 x 10^6 to 1 x 10^8 mononuclear cells per sample, and downstream purity routinely exceeds 90% when assessed by flow cytometry staining.
