EasySep Hu CD138 Pos Sel Kit II

From STEMCELL Technologies, the EasySep™ Human CD138 Positive Selection Kit II enables isolation of highly purified human CD138+ (syndecan-1) cells from bone marrow or peripheral blood mononuclear cell (MNC) samples using immunomagnetic positive selection. In a typical separation profile starting with thawed PBMCs spiked with the multiple myeloma cell line U266, the CD138+ cell content of the isolated fraction typically ranges from 93.0 - 98.2%, with start and final isolated fraction purities of 9.16% and 94.34% respectively in the cited example. The kit is designed for use with whole blood and bone marrow samples, and is compatible with a fully automated cell separation instrument capable of performing up to four simultaneous or sequential EasySep™ cell separations.

As part of the next-generation EasySep™ family, this kit offers equivalent or better performance than older-generation products with the benefit of shorter protocol times. Supporting reagents referenced for the workflow and purity assessment include a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody against human, rhesus, and cynomolgus CD138 (syndecan-1), a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody against human, chimpanzee, and horse CD38, a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody against human and chimpanzee CD45, and a goat polyclonal antibody against mouse IgG (H+L).
