EasySep Hu B Cell Iso Kit, 10mL

From STEMCELL Technologies, the EasySep™ Human B Cell Isolation Kit uses immunomagnetic negative selection to efficiently isolate untouched human B cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) or washed leukapheresis samples. Combining the specificity of monoclonal antibodies with a column-free magnetic system, the kit labels unwanted non-B cells expressing CD2, CD3, CD14, CD16, CD36, CD43, CD56, CD66b, and GlyA with antibody complexes and magnetic particles for removal, leaving the desired B cells untouched and ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

Widely used in published research for more than 20 years, the kit isolates highly purified B cells in as little as 9 minutes. Starting with human PBMCs, the B cell (CD3-CD19+) content of the isolated fraction is typically 95.1 ± 1.4% (mean ± SD), with the start and isolated fractions in the cited example measuring 4.5% and 94.9% purity, respectively. Performance is reported at up to 96% purity with high recovery. The isolated cells are collected by simply pouring or pipetting the supernatant into a new tube following magnetic separation with a compatible EasySep™ magnet.
