EasySep HLA WB T Cell Enrichment Kit

The EasySep™ HLA Whole Blood T Cell Enrichment Kit from STEMCELL Technologies is designed for the isolation of highly purified human T cells from HetaSep™-treated whole blood or washed leukapheresis samples, using a simple, optimized column-free immunomagnetic negative selection protocol. Unwanted cells are labeled via tetrameric antibody complexes in combination with dextran-coated magnetic particles and then separated with an EasySep™ magnet, so that untouched target T cells can be poured off into a new tube.

According to FACS histogram data, starting from HetaSep™-treated whole blood the CD3+ content of the enriched fraction typically ranges from 93.1 - 98.0% (gated on CD45+ cells). Beginning with 0.5 mL of HetaSep™-treated whole blood, which is equivalent to 5 mL of whole blood, typically 1.1 - 3.1 x 10e6 CD3+ cells are recovered. A Mouse (BALB/c) monoclonal IgG1 antibody against human and chimpanzee CD3 is listed as a compatible reagent for assessing the purity of the isolated cells.
