EasySep HLA Human T Cell Enrichment Kit

This immunomagnetic negative selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables the isolation of untouched, highly purified human T cells from fresh or previously frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), or from lysed leukapheresis samples. Using a column-free workflow with an EasySep™ magnet, unwanted non-T cells are labeled with a combination of monoclonal antibodies and magnetic particles, while desired T cells are simply poured off into a new tube. The kit is reported to deliver up to 99% purity, with the CD3+ cell content of the enriched fraction typically ranging from 95% to 99%. Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction, and the kit is noted as compatible with downstream HLA assays. Protocols are available for both manual processing and fully automated use on the RoboSep™ system. The kit includes an Enrichment Cocktail (a combination of monoclonal antibodies in PBS) and a suspension of magnetic particles in TRIS-buffered saline; both components should be stored at 2 – 8 °C and not frozen.
