EasySep HLA Chim WB Myeloid Pos Sel Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic positive selection kit isolates highly purified human myeloid cells from fresh whole blood or buffy coat for chimerism analysis. It targets cells expressing the CD33 and CD66b surface markers, capturing myeloid progenitor cells, granulocytes, and monocytes. The workflow is column-free and uses an EasySep™ magnet: antibodies and magnetic particles label the desired cells, and unwanted cells are simply poured off while the target fraction remains in the tube.

Isolated cells are immediately ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction for lineage-specific chimerism work. According to the manufacturer, myeloid content of the isolated fraction is typically 94.5 ± 4.1% (gated on CD45; mean ± SD using the “Big Easy” EasySep™ Magnet), and up to 99% purity is reported in the product documentation. In a representative run, the start and final isolated fraction purities were 66.6% and 98.5%, respectively.

The kit is supplied with a selection cocktail of monoclonal antibodies in PBS, Dextran RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles, and a 10X red blood cell lysis buffer concentrate. The product is intended for research use only.
