EasySep HLA Chim WB CD8 Pos Slctn Kit

This immunomagnetic positive selection kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables isolation of highly purified human CD8+ cells from a leukoreduction system chamber (LRSC; also known as an LRS cone). The procedure is fast and easy-to-use, requires no columns, and achieves up to 99.9% purity. When starting with an LRSC sample, the CD8+ T cell content of the isolated fraction typically ranges from 87.0 to 99.7%.

The kit targets CD8+ cells for positive selection using an antibody that recognizes the CD8 surface marker. Desired cells are labeled with antibodies and magnetic particles, then separated without columns using an EasySep™ magnet. Unwanted cells are simply poured off while desired cells remain in the tube, leaving them immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

The kit is compatible across EasySep™ platforms, including "The Big Easy", EasyEights™, and RoboSep™-S, supporting both manual and fully automated workflows. Components include a positive selection cocktail of monoclonal antibodies, EasySep™ Dextran RapidSpheres™ magnetic particles, and an EasySep™ Red Blood Cell Lysis Buffer supplied as a 10X concentrate. The kit can also be used to isolate CD8+ cells from fresh human whole blood or buffy coat, where the total CD8+ cell content of the isolated fraction is typically 98.7 ± 1.1% (gated on CD45; mean ± SD using "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet).
