EasySep Direct Hu Neutro Iso Kit

This immunomagnetic cell isolation kit from STEMCELL Technologies enables researchers to isolate untouched neutrophils directly from human whole blood using the EasySep system, without the need for density gradient centrifugation, sedimentation, or red blood cell lysis. The kit employs column-free immunomagnetic separation and is intended for the immunomagnetic isolation of human granulocytes — including neutrophils, basophils, and eosinophils — directly from whole blood.

When starting with human whole blood from normal healthy donors, the typical neutrophil (CD66b+CD16+) content of the non-lysed final isolated fraction is 97.3 ± 1.4% when gated on CD45, or 94.0 ± 3.7% when not gated on CD45. In a representative example, the neutrophil content of the lysed whole blood start sample and the non-lysed final isolated fraction was 50.6% and 97.2% respectively (gated on CD45), or 43.6% and 95.9% (not gated on CD45). The starting frequency of neutrophils in the non-lysed whole blood start sample is reported as 0.04%.

The kit is compatible with a fully automated cell separation instrument capable of performing up to four simultaneous or sequential EasySep cell separations, and is designed for use with compatible antibodies for purity assessment of isolated cells, including mouse monoclonal antibodies directed against CD45, CD16, and CD66b.
