EasySep Direct Hu B Cell-RoboSep

From STEMCELL Technologies, this immunomagnetic negative selection kit is designed to isolate highly purified human B cells directly from whole blood. The column-free workflow eliminates the need for density gradient centrifugation, sedimentation, or red blood cell lysis. Non-B cells are targeted for removal using monoclonal antibodies—mouse IgG1 against human and chimpanzee CD19, and mouse IgG2b against human, rhesus, and cynomolgus CD20—combined with EasySep™ Direct RapidSpheres™, leaving the B cell fraction untouched and ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or DNA/RNA extraction.

The kit is compatible with the EasySep™ magnet family, including "The Big Easy," Easy 50, and EasyEights™, as well as the RoboSep™-S automated platform. According to the product literature, it achieves greater than 99.9% red blood cell depletion and up to 95% purity of isolated cells. The typical B cell (CD3-CD19+) content of the non-lysed final isolated fraction is 95.3 ± 2.7% when gated on CD45, or 88.5 ± 11.5% when not gated on CD45.
