EasySep Dir Hu Eosinophil Iso Kit

STEMCELL Technologies offers an immunomagnetic negative selection kit for isolating highly purified, functional human eosinophils directly from human whole blood. The workflow does not require density gradient centrifugation, sedimentation, or RBC lysis, and the isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, functional assays, and culture.

According to the manufacturer's typical isolation profile, the eosinophil (CD16-CD66b+) content of the non-lysed final isolated fraction is 95.8 ± 2.7% (gated on CD45). A distributor listing states up to 98% purity of isolated cells. In a representative example, the eosinophil content of the lysed whole blood start sample and the non-lysed final isolated fraction was 2.3% and 97.6% (gated on CD45), or 2.2% and 90.8% (not gated on CD45), respectively.

The kit is column-free and is designed for use with several EasySep™ magnets, including "The Big Easy", Easy 50, and EasyEights™ models. It is intended for immunology research applications involving the isolation of granulocyte subsets from human whole blood.
