EasySep Dir Hu Basophil Iso Kit

From STEMCELL Technologies, this EasySep™ kit isolates functional, highly purified human basophils directly from whole blood by immunomagnetic negative selection. The protocol does not require density gradient centrifugation, sedimentation, or red blood cell lysis, and is column-free.

Isolated cells are immediately available for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, functional assays, and culture, and the kit effectively depletes red blood cells without additional processing steps. The untouched isolated cells are reported to achieve up to 98% purity, with typical basophil (CD123+IgE+) content of the non-lysed final isolated fraction at 97.3 ± 1.1% (gated on CD45).

Compatible magnets include "The Big Easy" EasySep™ Magnet, Easy 50 EasySep™ Magnet, and EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet. The kit is intended for human whole blood samples, basophils as the cell type, and supports immunology research. Compatible antibodies for purity assessment include a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody against human and chimpanzee CD45, and a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody against human, rhesus, and sooty mangabey CD123 (IL-3Rα).
