EasySep APC Pos Slctn Kit II-Sam

Positive selection of antigen-defined cell populations takes roughly 25 minutes per sample with this column-free magnetic workflow from STEMCELL Technologies. Built on the EasySep II platform, the kit uses dextran-coated iron nanoparticles that bind cells labeled with a user-supplied APC-conjugated antibody. Two short magnet incubations collect the labeled fraction while untouched cells stay in suspension, leaving material immediately ready for flow cytometry, PCR, or other downstream readouts.

The "Sam" configuration is a single-use kit supporting one standard sample, working with input volumes of 0.25 to 2 mL drawn from whole blood, peripheral blood mononuclear cells, splenocytes, lymph node single-cell suspensions, or lightly dissociated tissues. Reagents run at room temperature during the protocol, with no refrigerated handling or prewarming required. Because specificity comes entirely from the investigator's APC-conjugate, the same kit can be redirected toward different surface markers-CD3, CD4, CD8, CD19, CD56, and many more-just by changing the labeling antibody.

Used with a compatible EasySep magnet rack (sold separately), the workflow fits tubes in the 1 to 4 mL range and accepts samples collected into EDTA, heparin, or ACD. The positive format tends to preserve rare subsets that depletion-style kits often lose, which makes it a common choice in immunology labs working with both mouse and human sources.
