EasySep Anti-Rat IgG2a Pos Slctn Kit-Sam

Immunomagnetic cell isolation reagent from STEMCELL Technologies for the positive selection of cells labeled with a rat IgG2a primary antibody. Because the kit is directed against rat IgG2a, any antigen-specific rat IgG2a clone can be used to tag the population of interest, after which those labeled cells are captured using an EasySep magnet.

The workflow is column-free and performed directly in a tube: cells are incubated with the Selection Cocktail and magnetic RapidSpheres, then placed in the magnet so unlabeled cells can be poured off. Positively selected cells remain in the tube and are ready for downstream flow cytometry, in vitro culture, Western blot sample preparation, or RNA extraction. Components are supplied in single-use vials that should be stored refrigerated to preserve antibody and RapidSphere activity. Intended for research use only, the kit format supports purification of rat lymphoid and myeloid populations from splenocyte, lymph node, or peripheral blood samples for downstream cell-based assays.
