Anti-Ym1, Poly, UC, 300µL

A polyclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies targets mouse Ym1, a secreted ~45 kDa protein synthesized by activated mouse peritoneal macrophages during the inflammatory response elicited by parasitic infections. Ym1 is also known as beta-N-acetylhexosaminidase Ym1, Chi3l3, chitinase-like protein 3, and ECF-L (eosinophil chemotactic factor-L).

The antibody is a rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against a synthetic peptide (GYTGENSPLYK) derived from the Ym1 amino acid sequence, and is supplied unconjugated. It has been verified for flow cytometry (FC, suggested 1:50 dilution), immunofluorescence microscopy (IF, suggested 1:25 dilution), and Western blotting (WB, suggested 1:1000 dilution), with additional reported applications including immunocytochemistry, FC, IF, immunohistochemistry, and WB. The formulation is phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4, containing 0.05% sodium azide, 0.01% bovine serum albumin, and 50% glycerol, and the antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.

According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, this product is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the GHS or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). The supplier, STEMCELL Technologies Canada Inc., is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The product is stable at -20°C when stored undiluted and is intended for research use only.
