A recombinant human monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies that targets the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) Spike protein S1. Clone Covi-1 binds the S1 RBD and blocks its interaction with the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor, and it detects a different epitope than the related Covi-2 antibody. The antibody is supplied as a clear liquid in a phosphate-buffered solution and was purified by affinity chromatography.

It is a human IgG1 monoclonal (Clone Covi-1), recombinantly expressed in HEK293 cells, and is unconjugated. The immunogen corresponds to the RBD of the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein S1, spanning amino acids 330 - 530. Verified application is ELISA (Blocking), with Western blotting under native conditions (WB Native) reported.
