Anti-Rt NGF Receptor, 192-IgG, UC, 100µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody (clone 192-IgG, also known as MC192) is raised against the rat NGF receptor p75NTR, also known as CD271 or low-affinity NGF receptor (LNGFR). p75NTR is a 75 kDa type I transmembrane protein. The clone reacts with the extracellular domain of p75NTR from rat but not from other species, and is useful for detecting all cells expressing p75NTR on their surface, such as motor neurons in spinal cord, cholinergic basal forebrain neurons, activated Schwann cells, olfactory ensheathing glial cells, and numerous cell lines.

The antibody was generated using detergent-solubilized proteins isolated from the rat pheochromocytoma cell line PC12 as immunogen, and is produced in BALB/c mice. It is supplied unconjugated in lyophilized form and purified by protein G chromatography. Verified applications include immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reported use in functional assay (FA), flow cytometry (FC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunoprecipitation (IP), and Western blotting (WB). The product is stable at -20°C when stored undiluted.
